The Most Accurate Crypto YouTubers — Q2 2026 (We Verified 8,345 Predictions)
Every crypto YouTuber has a price target. Almost nobody goes back to check whether it was right. We do — automatically, at scale, and in public.
Over the past several months, CryptoKrios extracted 15,885 specific predictions from crypto YouTubers' videos and verified 8,345 of them against real market prices. The headline number is uncomfortable: a specific price call from a crypto YouTuber lands within range only about 16% of the time.
This is the Q2 2026 accuracy leaderboard — who is actually least wrong, and why the size of someone's audience tells you almost nothing about whether they're right.
How we score: no vibes, just receipts
Here is the method, in full, because the method is the product.
- Our AI reads every video and extracts each concrete prediction: the asset, the direction, and a price target or timeframe when one is stated.
- An automated job then checks each prediction against the real market price (via Financial Modeling Prep data) once its horizon is reached.
- Every prediction gets a verdict:
- HIT — right direction and within 5% of the target.
- PARTIAL — right direction, but 5–20% off.
- MISS — wrong direction, or off by 20% or more.
To rank creators fairly, we use a weighted accuracy score that gives full credit for a HIT and half credit for a PARTIAL: (HIT + 0.5 × PARTIAL) ÷ verified predictions. And we only rank creators with at least 30 verified predictions, so nobody climbs the board on a lucky handful of calls.
We are transparent about the limits too: AI extraction isn't perfect, horizons are sometimes implicit, and violent markets distort everything. We publish anyway. Radical transparency is the whole point.
The Q2 2026 accuracy leaderboard
| # | Channel | Subscribers | Verified predictions | Weighted accuracy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bitcoin hoy | 106K | 118 | 47.9% |
| 2 | Crypto Sauce | 46.5K | 47 | 43.6% |
| 3 | Lexa Moon Crypto | 53.5K | 311 | 42.8% |
| 4 | Crypto Futur | 129K | 33 | 42.4% |
| 5 | Crypto World | 222K | 250 | 41.0% |
| 6 | Thinking Crypto | 183K | 65 | 36.2% |
| 7 | Krown | 202K | 94 | 36.2% |
| 8 | OPTICALARTdotCOM | 76.9K | 61 | 36.1% |
| 9 | Cilinix Crypto | 104K | 1,796 | 34.8% |
| 10 | DataDash | 511K | 107 | 32.7% |
The most credible name on this list isn't necessarily the one at the top. Lexa Moon Crypto ranks third — but across 311 verified predictions, the largest robust track record here. A high score over a big sample is worth more than a high score over thirty calls.
Followers don't predict accuracy
Look at the top and the bottom of this list. Bitcoin hoy, with 106K subscribers, ranks first. DataDash, with 511K subscribers — nearly five times the audience — ranks last among the channels that cleared our threshold. Audience size measures reach and charisma. It does not measure whether the calls work out.
This is exactly the trap retail investors fall into: bigger channel, louder confidence, more trust. The data says: decouple the two.
A great explainer isn't the same as being right
We track two different things, and this leaderboard shows why that matters. Krown has one of the highest content-quality trust scores we assign (9.1 out of 10 — clear, well-reasoned, transparent) yet a 36.2% weighted accuracy on price calls. Being a brilliant educator and being right about where Bitcoin goes next quarter are simply not the same skill. Judge each on its own evidence.
Nobody is above 50% — and that's the point
Read the column again: not a single ranked creator clears 50% weighted accuracy, and the strict HIT rate across all 8,345 verified predictions is just 16%. That isn't a knock on these creators — it's the nature of short-horizon price prediction. The lesson isn't "find the one guru who's always right." There isn't one. The lesson is: stop copying a single voice, and start weighting everyone by their real, tracked track record.
How to actually use this
That weighting is exactly what CryptoKrios is built to do. We track every creator's predictions, verify them against the market, and surface the receipts so you can decide who deserves your attention — and how much. Don't take a price target on faith. Check the track record first.
